![]() Make sure you have OSC receiving enabled on Resolume 3 (preferences). It is using the network connection on your computer, that is why you have to specify IP addresses and ports. OSC has nothing to do with MIDI, so IAC driver will not affect it at all. When I use TouchOSC and try to configure MIDI mapping, nothing happen. I still don't get why Motu killed DP Control?Īnd I find Mackie Control kind of half-a_d alternative. Unfortunately bars/beats are not, which is a pain. They can run the session from my iPad, and all the transport keys, click on/off, solo, etc. It's been great for not just key-switching, but also things like naming mixes and stems, and I even have a transport control section for when I'm working in studios with engineers that don't use DP regularly. It does receive it ( can see in the messages pane), but I'm not smart enough to get Osculator to send it to TouchOSC on the Ipad and make it work. I did try turning on send MTC Bars/Beats in DP and see if Osculator was receiving it. I'm sure there would be a way to send Mackie Control back and forth and also use regular key-switching features simultaneously. HOWEVER, if you have 2 iPads you can get around that by having 2 Osculator files open (they can be the same) and set one of them to port 8001 and use that one for all your MIDI stuff. At least that was my experience a while back. there may be a conflict as the Mackie protocol is pretty much MIDI so your keyswitching stuff may not work. If you are using your iPad for anything MIDI like keyswitching etc. One thing about using the Mackie Control. I started playing around with trying to get the counter to display a long time ago but I never followed through.īut I think one of those options (Mackie or Open Sound Control) should get you pointed in the right direction. I use Osculator and also Keyboard Maestro together and you can basically do anything. Let Osculator do that, and it is bulletproof. It is totally reliable as a button or fader, but not for a specific keystroke or MIDI note or message or whatever. ![]() TouchOSC is not reliable for assigning the actual whatever the final message is. The MAIN thing I learned is that TouchOSC works great and as faders and buttons, but DO NOT rely on it to actually send specific keystrokes or MIDI notes or whatever. I use its mainly for key-switching, another page for transport controls (this is great with engineers that don't know DP), another page for naming mixes and stems, another for Finale, etc. I tried a bunch of others (Metagrid, DAW Control and Lemur) and ended up with Touch OSC. My experiences with TouchOSC have been largely positive. ![]() ![]() ![]() They took on prominent roles in the now dragon-allied community: Valka, a fountain of wisdom to learning trainers Cloudjumper, a judicious role model for the young dragons. (2022).The ultrasound identification of fetal gender at the gestational age of 11–12 weeks. You can learn more about how we ensure our content is accurate and current by reading our editorial policy. Healthline has strict sourcing guidelines and relies on peer-reviewed studies, academic research institutions, and medical associations. If you want a picture, they may let you take a snapshot of the screen - so have your phone handy. The facility where you get your ultrasound may or may not be set up to give you a printout.Typically, the sonographer will get the results to your doctor for a follow-up visit (often right after the scan) where they’ll interpret the data for you in detail. The technician operating the ultrasound may not be permitted to answer many of your questions. You have to wait until 11 to 12 weeks to get a 91 percent accurate identification of your baby’s biological sex, for example. Your baby, at this stage, is only about a quarter of an inch long - so you might not see much detail. It shouldn’t hurt, but it may not be the most pleasant feeling in the world. While the traditional abdominal ultrasound involves a wand (transducer) that’s placed on your belly, a transvaginal ultrasound involves a wand being inserted into your vagina. Before 7 weeks, babies are often so small that the abdominal ultrasound may have trouble picking up the information the doctor wants. At 6 weeks, you’ll likely have a transvaginal ultrasound rather than the abdominal one you may be thinking of.This is an exciting step, and being prepared can help you focus on the positive aspects. If you’re having your first pregnancy ultrasound at 6 weeks, there are some things you should be aware of. It tends to look like a tiny balloon, and your doctor wants to see its size and shape, which are indicators of your pregnancy health. At this stage of your pregnancy, a yolk sac should be visible inside the gestational sac. Your doctor will want to know the size of the embryo to confirm the due date. An ectopic pregnancy can’t be carried to term, and is a life-threatening emergency. It’s an ectopic pregnancy when a fertilized egg implants in a fallopian tube or elsewhere outside the uterus. They also want to check that it’s in the uterus and not an ectopic pregnancy. Your doctor wants to know if it’s high in the uterus or low. The ultrasound can locate where the embryo is implanted. (In the United States, the chance of having twins is about 3 percent.) Be aware, though, that sometimes 6 weeks is too early to tell. You might find out you’re having twins or higher-order multiples. ![]() ![]() Be prepared: This may be the first time you see signs of your baby’s heartbeat, and it can be very emotional. Your embryo has not yet developed a fully-formed heart at 6 weeks, but you may hear a cardiac pulse on the ultrasound. Or it may be due to your age or medical history, or if you’ve had bleeding, or your recollection of your last period is hazy because that’s the best time to set the due date. It may be because you’ve had pregnancy complications or early pregnancy losses in the past. You’re very likely to find all of the dim sum selections pictured below at the restaurant you’ve chosen. The vast restaurants filled with rolling carts and a cacophony of voices so familiar to diners in the West take their inspiration from Hong Kong dim sum parlors where families gathered regularly to drink tea, play mahjong and catch up with friends. If you are going for brunch I recommend a reservation as this place is always crowded with the elite crowd. The sort of dim sum served in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia originated in Hong Kong during the 1950s. The Dim Sum is brought around the tables on traditional trolleys and patrons can just choose the dishes they want and have their card stamped right then and there. This is where high class meets traditional, as the beauty of the room is mixed with the loud crowd of people enjoying the food. Eat & Drink the best dim sum in perth The Best Dim Sum in Perth by Sally Hall Fast and furious, steaming, crunchy goodness. My best recommendation is just the simple Har Gow. It is a bit on the pricy side but it is actually a great place for a classic Dim Sum brunch. We were taken as guests by one of my bosses clients who really wanted to show us some authentic upscale Hong Kong Dim Sum. This was the first Dim Sum restaurant I ever went to when I first visited Hong Kong with my family back in 2000. I’ve polished off four of these orders before getting to the rest of the meal before and if you’re lucky to get some with a bit of the seeds still in them they pack a nice bit of heat! You get two sliced peppers split and stuffed with a pork and shrimp mixture and fried in what I believe is a soy/oyster sauce mixture (something like this I have tried at one of the restaurants in La Quinta, California). A bit untraditional, but totally worth it. My personal favorite dish is the shrimp and pork peppers. Perhaps their most famous dish is their Piggy Custard Buns which are both sweet and savory, and just a little bit cute. If it is crowded you will have to take a number and wait outside for your seat but I guarantee it is worth it. It is located on Tin Lok Lane in between the Wan Chai and Causeway Bay MTR stops and is a great value for the money. ![]() Whenever I show friends and family around Hong Kong this is always a stop that I take them, and for good reason. ![]() This is my favorite overall Dim Sum restaurant in Hong Kong. ![]() ![]() This iteration of Yellowstone may soon be ending, but the franchise won’t exactly be riding off into the sunset anytime soon.
